This courses defines historical and contemporary dance forms and their religious, social, cultural and artistic qualities.
The course will include the viewing of video documentation, discussion, research and student presentations. This courses are recommended .
This classes will include research and study of the backgrounds of dances, music, art and cultures,
and will provide opportunities for development of acceptable performance .
We are hoping to introduce you to a variety of different Styles, so that gives you the opportunity for self exploration. Because many times, we haven't given ourselves permission to even try anything, and we really don't know if we like it until we feel it.
